It’s coming-Only three more days!!!!

Don’t forget to go to the retreat website to print off the map and a list of what to bring.

Reminder: Flashlights will be needed and an umbrella or rain poncho (due to the possibilities of rain this weekend).

If you arrive at Pine Cove after 7:00 pm you will need the gate code “1967” to get into the property. Emergency phone to give to family members is #: 903-534-1894

Your assigned drink item for the snack room is: One 12-pack of bottled water. This is in addition to any snack or drink items that your cabin hostess discussed with you. Any snacks or drinks that were assigned by the cabin hostess will be for in the cabins.

The Worship Team needs additional help with the sound equipment (loading up at Pine Cove-when retreat is over and unloading at Woodcreek-once we get back home). Anyone that can assist please contact Andrea Stewart at andrealovesmatt@gmail.com.

Cabin Hostess:

Each cabin hostess will be contacting you to introduce herself to you and update you on any information that you may need. If you have not received a call from your cabin hostess by this Wednesday, please contact Mary Ann Ghormley at ghormley@verizon.net.

Registration:

Registration at Pine Cove will begin Friday afternoon at 4:00pm. You will not be allowed to register prior to that time.

6:30 pm- box dinner will be provided

8:00 pm- Session 1 (Pat Harley speaking)

Saturday Morning Arrival: The registration table will be set up from 9:00-10:00 am. If possible try to plan your arrival time so that you will have time to register, fellowship and get comfortable in time for the activities. If you arrive during one of the activity times, please join in!

9:00 am-personal devotional time-if you arrive during this time, please respect those enjoying time alone.

10:00-Session 2 (Pat Harley speaking)

Any one that is coming down “for Saturday only” has been assigned to a cabin so you can be part of the small group discussions. You will be given this information when you check in at registration.

Saturday Night Fun Time: “ Put on your dancing ‘slippers” and get ready to DANCE DANCE DANCE. Don’t forget to bring your favorite PJ’s to wear to the 2009 JAMMY JAM!!!”

Make sure to check your email and the retreat website before leaving for the retreat Friday for any last minute updates.

Retreat is a little over a week way and I know many of you are busy making preparations for your family to be taken care of while you are away. I am including additional retreat information and a few updates to keep you informed as you make your preparations for the weekend.

Registration: Final payments were due April 1st. IF you have not done so, please drop a check by the church office today. You may place the check in the envelope (at the reception desk) labeled Woodcreek Women’s Retreat. If you have any questions please contact Debbie Cross@crossdebbie@hotmail.com.

Arrival time at Pine Cove is 4:00pm Friday afternoon. You will not be allowed to register or go to your cabin prior to that time.

Prayer Mosaic: We are looking for some ladies that are interested in being part of the prayer mosaics intercession. There will be two shifts of 30 minutes and Becky is looking for approx 20 ladies that would pray with as many ladies as they can during that time period. Once your time period is over you will be free to participate in the prayer mosaic. Flashlights: Bringing a flashlight will be a necessity this year to get around Pine Cove at night. Due to the number of ladies attending retreat, we will be using cabins at the top of the road (by the gym) as well as the cabins down by the dining hall.

Cabin Hostesses: Room assignments have been made and your cabin hostess should be contacting you in the next week or so to introduce herself and update you on any information that you may need.

Over the next few weeks, you will receive various emails from us related to the women’s retreat; therefore, it is important that you check your email account on a regular basis. Every communication we send to you will also be listed on the Woodcreek Women’s Retreat website. The retreat website is at www.woodcreekchurch.com (click on the women’s retreat link on the main page). Don’t forget to check out the retreat website as it has a lot of detailed information about the speaker, who to contact, what to bring, how to get to Pine Cove and pictures from last year.

We have had an amazing response to the retreat this year and at this time have approximately 208 women who are confirmed as attending. This will be a wonderful weekend of praise, prayer and fellowship. Arrival time at Pine Cove on the day of retreat is 4:00 pm.

Registration: Balances Due

Reminder: all remaining balances for the retreat are due no later than this Wednesday, April 1st. Checks should be made out to Woodcreek church and may be left in the women’s retreat envelope at the reception desk in the church office. Retreat Committee Needs:

The retreat committee has two urgent needs that we would like you to consider.

· We are in need of 4-5 ladies to assist with the Angel Team. The Angel Team “is there to be helping hands. Whatever, whenever a need may arise, they are willing to be there to help.”

· We need 2-3 ladies, husbands/significant other, to volunteer to help unload the sound equipment at the church on Sunday upon return from the retreat. This won’t take very long however, the equipment is too heavy for the one or two ladies on the worship team to unload by themselves.
